Literature Text
You make me wish that I could say
That everything could fade away
Into what seemed to be yesterday
I gazed upon the forest floor with my legs and arms slowly disappearing. I looked up at the sky and saw its vast beauty before I left the world.
Easily angered and antagonized
People just being objectified
Nightmares being solidified
A boy sitting upon a stump, leaning over a small pond, pondering about why he yelled at his older sister. He glanced across the lake to see a blue butterfly, tiny and frail, fluttering away; he said his farewell to his sister before getting up and walking the other way.
Oh what a pretty little girl, wandering
Oh what a sorry little boy, wondering
Oh what a blue little butterfly, fluttering
Oh what a sad little tale, dimming...

day 305 of heartbreak.
"i know you love me."
darling ,
i love the way you look at me
with eyes full of adoration .
(but that gleam has disappeared)
i love the way we gab and gab
about nothing and everything
at the same time .
(but we haven't spent a 4am together
in quite some time)
i love the way we can fight through
the thorns of life together .
(but now my body is filled with splinters)
i love the way you tell me i'm beautiful
and i know you mean it in every way .
(but now you can't even stand the sight of me)
i'm going through the motions
of heartbreak ,
the stages of grief.
listening to your ramblings
about how you think you know me .
but the thing

March of Time
March of Time
Time marches to its own sound.
Tick tock, thump thump, click boom.
In a fraction of a second everything you know and love can be gone.
Life ends and life begins but time pays no mind.
It just keeps marching to its own beat.
Tick tock, thump thump, click boom.

she has said
"your love is fickle."

Writing for class, I wrote this little free verse poem. It also has a tale within it about two children.
